When a request needs a custom quote
Requests outside the L1 scope above go to an engineer-reviewed quote (not a fixed price) when any of the following apply:
- More than 300 components in one machine line
- Multiple firmware images or versions in one request
- Multiple pcap files, or multiple factories
- On-site work is required
- A gap against CRA, RED or UK PSTI that needs its own scoping
- Firmware patching/remediation (see the firmware security service for scope)
- Compliance documentation beyond the indicative mapping in a report
- PSIRT or monitoring subscriptions
